Task analysis is the process of breaking down complex, multi-step skills into their individual steps. It is often used in classrooms and ABA Therapy to teach complex skills to our learners. It’s one of my favorite strategies to use with my students!

It includes 8 fully editable, printable task analysis data sheets in .docx and PDF format to track toileting skills (12 steps) and handwashing (9 steps), pre-formatted to collect data in the following methods:

1. Cold Probe: Tracks independent vs prompted responses for 10 days.

2. Cold Probe: Tracks responding with prompt levels for 5 days.

3. Trial-by-Trial: Tracks independent vs prompted responses for 5 and 10 trials.

Simply circle the appropriate response emitted by the learner and you’re good to go!
